What is PAD UI?

Pond is Community Tech Alliance’s self-service portal that’s free for PAD users! This resource currently allows you to authorize syncs from various platforms into PAD and provides the ability to see and jump to your PAD projects. It will include many more features in future iterations.

How do I access PAD UI?

To get started, go to PAD UI (cta.tools) and click “Sign in with Google.” Continue with your @cta.tools account, and when prompted, click all of the checkboxes on the list of permissions to grant Pond. Once logged in, you are ready to use Pond!

What can I do with PAD UI?

Currently, PAD UI can help you with the following:

  • Authenticate syncs from various platforms
  • Jump to your BigQuery projects, if you have access to more than one
  • Execute, manage, and view voter file matching jobs. If you do not see that available feature, check out our help article here for more information.

PAD FAQs

Q. What permissions do I need to grant when logging in?

A. When prompted, please choose all of the permissions. This list of permissions allows us to show you information in PAD UI about your CTA-provided Google account. If you don’t choose all of the permissions, some features will not work as expected.

Q. Each time I attempt to log in, I’m just sent back to the login screen.

A. Confirm that you’re using your @cta.tools account. If the issue continues, please reach out to help@techallies.org and we’ll troubleshoot further.
